Synchronized events:
- Managed by the Android ecosystem, your default agenda app opens to add or modify an event

Non-synchronized events:
- Stored only on your local device
- Created directly in The Calendar Pro app
- Lots of customization like:
- text color
- event background color
- text style: bold, italic, underlined
- Text alignment: left, right, centered
- Vertical bar format, for example for holidays or school vacations
- Icon to choose and color, from a wide range of possibilities
A template is a predefined format for quickly creating recurring events.
- Save your favorite event settings (title, icon, vertical bar, colors, notifications)
- Quickly create similar events without re-entering information
- Define templates for different types of activities (meetings, medical appointments, sports activities, etc.)
- Save time when creating repetitive events
You can create, modify and delete your templates directly from the calendar, with the + button.
With a template, 2 usage possibilities:
- 1. Create an event that will directly take the style of a template, via the + button, Create an event
- 2. Use the template directly without modifying it, via the + button, Templates, Use
- Press directly on the desired days, press again to remove it
- Validate. Very fast method to enter holidays for example!
To recover your data on a new phone, several options are available:
1. Synchronized events:
- Sign in with the same Google account on your new phone
- Enable calendar synchronization
- Your synchronized events will appear automatically
3. Non-synchronized events:
- Use the backup function before changing phones: System Settings, Backup and restore
- Transfer the backup file to your new phone
- Import the data into the app
The Calendar app offers many customization options:

- Choose from hundreds of themes created by users
- Create your own custom themes by modifying custom themes
Yes, The Calendar app works fully offline:
- Viewing: You can view all your events even without internet connection
- Creation: Create new events
- Modification: Edit your existing events
- Notifications: Receive your reminders even offline
If you use synchronized events: Synchronization with Google Calendar happens automatically as soon as your internet connection is restored.
By default, the calendar adapts to your screen, but you can define the number of months to display on screen:
- Options
- Dimensions and display
- Number of columns
You can modify the display to enlarge the calendar in several ways:
- Zoom/unzoom directly on the calendar with two fingers, like on your camera
- First menu at the top left of the calendar, Configuration on the calendar:
- Select a configuration with the left-right arrows
- Modify each proposed configuration with live rendering in the calendar
- Options, Dimensions and display:
- Cell height
- Font size
- Vertical bands width
- ...

If you need to share your calendar with your family, a friend, or a colleague, you must use synchronized events. They are managed by the Android ecosystem.
